Why is matching seal and strap width important?
A seal designed for a different width cannot provide the correct contact and engagement with the strap. For example, a 19 mm seal must be evaluated with 19 mm strapping and is not a direct substitute for a 16 or 32 mm seal. Seal thickness is also related to width and joining method; that is why the stated thickness range is greater for the 32 mm size.
